Graficouture, MOVE! 2013

Interactive installation & workshop combining street art and fashion design @ SESC Belenzinho, São Paulo, Brazil.

 
MOVE! is an interactive art and fashion event created by Cecilia Dean (VisionaireWorld). The 1st edition happened at MoMa PS1, in New York City. The event was re-edited in 2013 at SESC Belenzinho, São Paulo - Brasil bringing some of the original installations and inviting brazilian artists to create new ones.
 
Conceptualized by Luan Banzai and stylist Pedro Lourenzo, the project invited the public to sew garments made of graffiti textile murals based on Pedro's designs. Graffiti/visual artists were: Rimon Guimarães, Ramon Martins, Iamana, Jorge Galvão, Mazu Prozak, Waldomiro Mugrelise.
 
The brazillian edition of MOVE! also presented pieces from: Alexandre Herchcovitch, Cynthia Rowley, Diane von Furstenberg, Dudu Bertolini, Marc Jacobs, Olaf Breuning, Peter Coffin, Vik Muniz and others.
